Writing and Evaluating Learning Outcomes
- Using Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives and the stem + action word + learning statement framework, write three or four learning outcomes for an existing course (or module in a course) that you would like to redesign for online or blended delivery.
- After you have posted your own learning outcomes, read those posted by other participants and respond to at least two of them by using the SMART acronym to evaluate them.
- Once you have received feedback on your original learning outcome from other participants, make any necessary revisions to your learning outcome and post your final version as a response to the feedback you received on the discussion board.
