The first article discusses the importance of establishing a Children's Commissioner because they claim there is no one protecting Canada's 7 million children.

The second article also discusses the reasons for which it is time for a National Children's Commissioner by giving an example from Attawapiskat.
The third article explains that Marc Garneau introduced a bill that would establish a National Children's Commissioner, but it was not past.
Finally, the last article is again about an attempt to pass a bill (bill-C701) that would establish a National Children's Commissioner but instead ends on a brighter note bringing in the perspective of children.

In my opinion, the first two readings were the most useful because they brought into perspective why it is important to establish a National Children's Commissioner whereas the other two article discussed the attempt of passing the bill and then having it defeated. Furthermore, the second reading that gave the example of Attawapiskat was a very interesting read, as it made the reader understand the real need for a National Children's Commissioner.
