Exploitation is described as action or fact of treating someone unfairly in order to benefit from their work, meaning abuse, neglect, sexual acts, etc. Looking at exploitation on a continuum allows for a in depth analysis on why exploitation occurs, and why it is difficult to eradicate it. From a continuum standpoint it allows for the giant grand scheme to be viewed, for example it explains why in countries where children make the working class due to war or disease. The continuum lens allows to view the past, and present as the same.
