According to the Oxford Dictionary, exploitation means the act of treating someone unfairly in order to benefit from their work. For some, exploitation means something extreme such as trafficking or could be too board such as it eliminates human dignity. Children are extremely vulnerable to all types of exploitation all over the world. By understanding the continuum between broad and extreme forms of exploitation, it helps to understand how often children are exploited everyday, by media, government and other peers. When a child is used to drug, sex or other means of trafficking that most certainly is considered exploitation, how it is also considered exploitation when they are meant to feel less than a human. Children continue to face the challenges of being exploited whenever someone considered them to be not fully human.
