The Shaking the Movers model works towards eliminating the challenges that are associated with children’s right to participation. They meet these challenges by giving children the opportunity for their voice to be heard by creating an environment where they can speak freely and be heard by policy makers who make decisions in matters regarding the lives of children. I am in full support of this organization and did not find any real gaps in the model, however it would be interesting to know whether or not the children are involved in the process of choosing the conference topics and helping to create the workshops. If not, that is something that could be modified in order to ensure full participation.
