The Shaking the Movers model is one that comprises two and a half days of interaction between the youth and adults. Throughout that time the youth would be introduced to each other as well as organizers and discussion will begin. Discussion will take place about the issue at hand, with that said the issue is typically broken up into four sub themes. This all amounts to a final report being written and sent to those with power and influence. The Shaking the Movers model ultimately values the youth’s input and participation which is beneficial as it allows the youth to have their voices heard.
