Shaking the Movers model looks at the essential engagement with children and youth which is crucial when considering child participation as a right and policy. In this particular model, children are referred to as the shakers while adults are viewed as the movers.  This model allows children to use their freedom of speech and  experience to “shake” those in charge of policy decisions.  The purpose of this model is to bring attention to the most prominent challenge children face of not being heard.  From this reading there were not any very significant gaps present within this model other than the fact that putting this into practice would not be an easy task.
